The terrain is small, and the fight is over a limited and hostile terrain. The Israelis may find the small number of settlements short of settlers. These new settlers may not like to live in a blazing continuous war zone with bullets and shrapnel as their constant deadly visitors bringing death. The Israeli fighter is young and has seen the good life within view. For how long will they continue this deadly dance of death with no end in sight? How long can Netanyahu’s exhortation toward the greater glory of Israel continue. There is no end in sight, nor is it on offer..

The zeal and commitment of the young soldier is wearing thin with no end in sight, not even on the horizon.
Netanyahu is solely to blame. He has created a state that is surrounded by hate and danger that permeates the landscape. The zeal has long lost its lustre under the constant danger. Even the world is tired of this conflict, and attention has shifted to the middle pages. Only a new missile strike evokes mild interest till it loses attention to the latest covid figures. The world is facing huge economic problems fighting the corona pandemic, and may find it difficult to find sympathy in its heart for some Jews fighting over some alley,when the world is busy counting their covid victims.

Their priorities are the danger at hand and businesses closed waiting to be reopened. A rabid rant from Netanyahu has lost its appeal. He cries a wolf wolf at Arab aggression now falls on deaf ears. Corona has affected the whole world and is the major enemy facing the world. Arab and jew are not relevant anymore. Airlines have collapsed, hotels are shut, small family run businesses have shut down, some to never open again. The Israelis must realize that on the world’s stage their conflict with the Arabs is of no interest and the world is tired of this script. Even Hollywood has no takers,as its cinemas have been closed for over a year. Even the latest Tom Cruise Blockbuster Top Gun cannot be screened as the cinemas are locked down due to the dreaded corona. So Netanyahu, give the world a break. The world has serious problems of its own.
