The choice of Shaukat Tarin as Minister of Finance is a welcome addition to Imran Khan’s cabinet.
Being a hard nosed banker shrewd and tough, he can be relied upon to ensure that hard decisions are taken and obeyed. Squeals of anguish will soon be heard in the mafias corridors.
They are already scurrying for places to hide.
He knows the players and the games they play and he is unforgiving.
The businessmen who are involved in these scams will be distancing themselves lest they feel the wrath of Shaukat.
The businessmen of Pakistan are shrewd enough to realise that their weakness is finance.
They cannot afford to be on the wrong side of the Bank or the ministry.
As any industrialist or businessman knows, we cannot survive even for a day without a banker’s support.
Finance is the inherent weakness of any business. Of necessity they must cooperate.
Shaukat brings with him a high loyalty factor, and is a die hard Pakistani and will not tolerate any harm to his country.

Shaukat knows the intricacies of the Pakistani market place and the foibles of the businessmen from the pan wala to the tycoon.

This will now ensure that even the IPPs will fall into line. Their excuse of international contracts will suddenly become negotiable.
Shaukat will not allow Pakistan to suffer.

Shaukat Tarin is feared by most businessmen who will not dare oppose his policies. The businessmen will of necessity cooperate and the economy will flourish.
For Imran Khan, Shaukat and Pakistan, it’s a win-win situation.
Congratulations to the PM for an excellent choice which augurs well for Imran Khan and the country.
