Articles of the year 2021

All the economic indicators are positive. Jobs are being created and employments are given across the country. The first reason is that large scale looting has stopped as the leadership does not offer dishonest contracts which are a source of the loot and deprive the economy of these funds. The main looters are on the run and are incapable of taking advantage of their political leverage as under Nawaz or Zardari.
The business community has realised that legal money can still be made in Pakistan. The loot by the politicians was being removed from the economy which has shown its effect. In three years the effect of one man’s honesty has changed the fate of Pakistan. In reality this was the impact of corruption. Imran’s presence has shown dramatic results. If NAB and the FIA behave, the 4 % growth would triple.
The economy showing its benefits which are real and not doctored as by Ishaq Dar. The sugar scams can be controlled by some raids on the hoarders, and the hoarders can be punished using the laws of crisis in a famine situation. That is the danger facing the country at the hands of the hoarders. If these hoarders can be exposed and punished in public then the people will truly feel that justice is being done.
Justice must be seen to be done. The more spectators the more real the justice. This will be appreciated by the public at large who will vent their hatred on the hoarders. It is essential that when identified outside the godowns in which the sugar is hidden, the sugar mafia will feel the wrath of the public and then they will lower the prices automatically. In the scriptures hoarding of food is a mortal sin, and punishable by death and so it should be in Pakistan.
Imran Khan’s effect on the performance of the bureaucracy have been dramatic enough to ensure a difference of 4% in the GDP. With the proper judicial punishments in place this increase would be at least 12%. Soon it will become the new way of life. If severe punishments were handed out by the judiciary, the effect would be more dramatic. It is time that the judge who granted bail to Nawaz Sharif should be asked for a detailed reasoning and the legal grounds on which bail was granted to a prisoner serving a sentence of seven years and was allowed to leave the jail and the country.
Surely this is beyond the jurisdiction of that judge. He should be prosecuted for this indulgence which is outside the law and patently illegal. The judge must realise that the position he holds comes with a responsibility. If he breaks the law by giving a biased decision then he should feel the consequences. For too long have the officers of Pakistan behaved as if they were no consequences. This is the decision, Imran khan must take now. All is twenty three years struggle will have been in vain. The prime minister present position is that of a toothless tiger. Punishments are overdue.
