Khan Saab, the time has come to say goodbye to this system. Which is not allowing the PTI to work.
It is creating hurdles and is using their corrupt cash at its disposal to further its agenda, primarily to remove Imran. The most important weapon in the Imran’s hands is the people’s card.
He is fortunate that the forces of evil are huddled together making an easier target, also the Anti-Imran forces keep bringing their skeletons like the sullied Yrg whose malodorous touch has already infected the earlier clean Bilawal, now soaked in the Asif/Yrg combine, a toxic mix that will not be removed easily.
That is the lingering defect impossible to distance like the father, this baggage is too closely tied.
Fortunately for Imran, Bilawal has chosen the same refrain carrying with it the stench of corruption. For Imran, the judiciary and bureaucracy are too deeply stepped in the odious corruption of the PML-N/PPP mix.
The people of Pakistan realize the predicament and will back Imran's move to shed this system.
To this end he is supported by the entire armed forces, who, by virtue of their training, carry this disdain for corruption aimed at the civilians.
This disdain is palpable. The rank and file support Imran. The officers are well aware of the Imran factor, and are supportive.
Gen Bajwa must immediately distance himself publicly from any lingering tenuous PML-N sympathies. Imran is the only game in town. Gen Bajwa and his men must put their support behind Imran.
The lines between friend and foe could not be clearer. The people are well aware of the rules. It is now time Gen Bajwa comes on board and make his position public against the corrupt system of the Zardari Nawaz group.
The time has come for the Prime Minister to call for Army support of these defiled foe. The power of a few phone calls are well known and understood. The rejection of the Yrg seat would be a good message. This is probably the worst political decision.
And the sooner stopped the better. The military must make its displeasure known and felt. To have a convicted felon in the upper house is not acceptable. To the civilians or the military.
The Supreme Court must exercise their Suo Moto powers to rule upon the failure of the Election Commission to reject the candidacy Yrg to the senate as being inappropriate and therefore illegal.
The reasons are too many to list. The honorable Judges know full well that such elements should have not been allowed into the upper house.
If Zardari and Nawaz are seen to combine their weight behind Yrg, this is surely enough for the Supreme Court to reject such a candidate.
The Supreme Court must make its opposition to corruption known. It cannot be a silent bystander.
