The strategic importance of Pakistan has been written about in earlier articles.
The grand tussle now is over the Sino-Pak relationship and its importance to the region. The exposure of the Indian weakness is now common knowledge.
The Indian bluster has been exposed as a myth. Countries like Nepal are leading a new challenge to the Indian hegemony of the region. Nepal has a history of being a formidable warrior, and is now flexing his muscles to break the shackles that India has imposed over the last fifty years by its embargo on the landlocked Nepal.
Now with a Chinese optional route now available to Nepal, the challenge to this Indian embargo is taking place. It has not been picked up by the international media but the nervousness displayed by the Indians is quite apparent.
With the formidable fighting ability of the Gurkha warriors, the Indians would be ill advised to take on the Gurkhas in battle as eventually it could be hand to hand where the Gurkhas superiority is well established.
The other warrior factions are these Sikhs and the Punjabis both of whom are already in a state of semi rebellion. Due to the Indian belligerence and now the Intolerance of the Modi Hindutva.
The Kashmir problem has been internationalised by the prolonged curfew over two years. The civil rights of Kashmiris and the imposition of article 370 which is a naked move to distribute the Kashmiri’s control over their own properties which will then be sold to non Kashmiris.
This was guaranteed by the founding fathers of the Indian state to the Muslims of Kashmir. That has been repealed by the article 370.
With the Nepalese stepping up the battle, the Kashmiris will now see their opportunity to take Delhi head-on.
The Sikhs are only recently aware of their maltreatment at the hands of the Hindu Hindutva. These multiple problems maybe too much for a Delhi beleaguered by a Corona crisis.
The Nehru, Gandhi intellectual superiority has been overtaken by the wave of Hindutva with the leadership of a chai wala combine whose murderous route to the control of the masses cast a dangerous spell for the once successful political system.
The Nepalese, Sikh and Kashmiri threats are now a serious destabilising factor in the Indian geography. Geography is now taking a leading role in politics. In the past geography was the most important and now has come to the fore.
The management of the various states was possible by the ICS cartel - the highly trained and motivated services of the British colonial service which has served India well.
However the Kashmiri- Indian - Nepalese division threatens to split the remnants of the colonial services into factions along the state lines.
Narendra Modi has succeeded in releasing the ethnic genie from the bottle. To now rebottle the genie is well impossible.
The Kashmiri, the Sardar, and the Gurkha will not stomach the excesses of the Modi’s superiority. Modi in his thrust for Hindu control of the other ethnic groups has exposed
the cruel murderous waves of Hindu mobs on the rampage.
They say they brought visions of the 1947 riots which resulted in 2 millions of deaths across the country.
That partition of the cruel aberration and humanity at its most cruel. Modi has forced us to relive those days of horror.
