The fracas in the National Assembly has turned into a fiasco. The danger signs are all there. Soon Imran Khan will have to dissolve the assemblies as he cannot continue in this vein.

As a leader he must remain ahead of the game. to wait is to lose his lead and leadership. His all is at stake. His status on the world stage, his following by the world youth can all be swept aside in the confusion being created in the assembly by the two parties desperate to bring down Imran’s government.

They are prepared to go to any lengths. Their rowdy behaviour has shown the failure of democracy which has been allowed by a corrupt judiciary to reach this stage of confusion. We hope it does not reach the Bengali model when the deputy speaker was murdered in the assembly in the speaker’s chair.

Events seem to be headed that way unless Imran Khan puts a stop to this nonsense. Imran Khan has had one thousand days as Prime Minister. A lifetime for many people. He has been blocked in his attempts at accountability. The culprits remain free whether breakfasting in London or esconced in the assembly where they take the benefit of their political position to block any attempts at governance for Imran Khan.

The judiciary and bureaucracy are both complicit in this failure of governance. Pakistan now looks to Imran to stop this madness. To continue is to demean his ability as a leader. He must now take those measures of punishing those criminals who are being protected by a corrupt judiciary. The systems in Pakistan have broken down. The only remedy is to call in the army in support of his government.

The army should be ordered to arrrest and punish under their military judges as the civilian judiciary does not work. Nawaz Sharif allowed bail while serving a sentence is unthinkable and illegal.

The judge who allowed this bail should be charged with criminal behaviour as there is no precedent in the world for such an action. That judge and the officers around him at that time deserve an exemplary punishment for violating the laws of Pakistan and throwing the entire judicial system into disarray. Imran Khan must heed the call for action. General Bajwa is in support and will obey the order of Imran Khan if given. Imran Khan has no option but to act to save the country from any further deterioration.

If Zardari chooses to announce his separation from Pakistan, he will not make it to his car. For him this announcement will be his suicide call, no Pakistani will allow this. The Sindhis will rise up to reak vengeance at this call of treason. Zardari is indeed a shrewd politician but he is not suicidal. Imran Khan must act now, before events overtake him and he loses the opportunity to save the country from the proven enemies.
