Articles of the year 2021

We are a nation of unfortunate people governed by lucky rulers who are never punished.
They loot and come back to loot again, our assemblies are packed with law makers who excel at breaking the law.

While the people pray for a Guy Fawkes or a Cromwell to rescue us.
Our Cromwell it seems has been bested by the crooked politicians and keeps wringing his hands woefully, instead of throwing the criminals in jail.

This is the only country in the world with a PM who pleads weakness.
For someone who evokes fear on the field, and adulation off the field, to see him bested by an uneducated turnip and a cinema ticket scalper causes pain to the ruled.

Now given to lamenting their fate at the hands of an educated honest man but outwitted by criminals and by a judiciary famous for non prosecution, and for bail sometimes within minutes of the application while the less connected languish in jail for years without a hearing.

This is indeed a country begging for a revolution. We may get more of the same only this time with bloodshed.

The rights of the people have been denied for too long and the crooked politicians gouged profits from the daily necessities for the people zooming out of their reach.

It is time Imran Khan calls for an end to these charades, before he is swept aside by a furious nation who can no longer tolerate excuses.
The people want results. Imran Khan must rise or the people will seek elsewhere.
The field is full of applicants ready for the opportunity.
They may succeed, especially in the non-performance of Imran's team.
It will be a sad day for Pakistan if the most fit for the job PM in our time is headed for the dustbin of history, instead of leading Pakistan towards a glorious future. He stands humbled by such pygmies.
