Bill Gates’ Revenge
Published on May 10th, 2021

The case of Abraaj Group’s founder Arif Naqvi could be very interesting. It seems that Bill Gates’ money exercises power across borders. Abraaj was accused of misusing funds of the Gates Foundation.

Some of these funds were used to finance the purchase of KESC allegedly at the behest of Zardari, when Naqvi was persuaded that KESC was a good buy and this takeover will benefit the people of Karachi by the Abraaj management and Zardari political assistance in Sindh. A win-wins situation.

The deal went sour as some of Gates’ money went missing in the typical Sindhi bottomless pit where these monies vanished without a trace.

Bill Gates should look into the pathway from Abraaj to KESC via Zardari. If this link is established then Zardari should be sent for by investigators to identify his connection as Naqvi was a law abiding citizen till he came under the influence of the then president of Pakistan, Zardari.

The kiss of death by Zardari has resulted in Naqvi being accused of the most heinous crime in the US, which is stealing from the rich.
The ruler of Dubai had him arrested and now he is being extradited to the US where he shall face the might of the US law.

It maybe advisable to Naqvi to give the links of the money trail via Zardari. This may get him a lesser sentence if the Gates Foundation really wishes to absolve itself of its funds being used to bolster a corrupt politician.

The people of Pakistan did not deserve this leadership, which has cost them so much grief. If the Gates net is to be cast then Zardari should also be netted in as a beneficiary of the Gates money.
I’m sure that Bill Gates’ fury will encompass all those involved including those Arab citizens in the UAE who rushed to board the Abraaj bandwagon when it was rolling high.

The Abraaj association with Zardari should have rung alarm bells in the world of Microsoft that is by definition one of the great data collection centres of the world.
Pakistan is unfortunate at its loss of such a brilliant financier caught in the Zardari web. This involvement should be exposed and the links brought under the US dragnet.
It seems Pakistani authorities are incapable of punishing Zardari but the US legal system maybe too much for even him.
