Is it not strange that the Nawaz/Zardari forces seem to grow stronger by the day.
Stranger still is the silence from those most affected by corruption, the poor. It is they who cannot feed their children. It is they that are deprived of their basic necessities, their schools, their water.
Yet Zardari is the head of Sind easily the most troubled and most backward of our provinces except for Karachi.
The health and medical facilities in Larkana are non existent and yet the Zardari group has the province in a vice like grip.
All the development funds are siphoned off from the centre immediately into non existent accounts.
While the PPP goons are seen driving around in air conditioned bullet proof limousines going from one accountability court to another.
Where bail is granted, dates are given with no progress. The wheels of justice stand frozen in time and even the lip service is muted or non existent.
Is this the fruit of democracy that is the public due ? Does Imran Khan not see that his government has become part of this system.
For all his whining about being prevented from carrying out his duties as prime minister, he has become part of the problem.
No excuses are now relevant as the PTI is now the recipient of the combined abuse from the people. The PTI slogan of a new page has turned into a chant.
It is the same old story of the corrupt policies now rehashed but under the PTI banner.
Sad indeed that the baton of corruption has been passed on to the PTI team.
Imran Khan can cry himself hoarse, but he has ruled Pakistan for three years, it is his cabinet, his sugar cane, his NAB, and his police.
He cannot cry innocent. He is to blame.
Is this the democracy he wished upon us, to deprive our children of their due ?
Far far better to have a martial law exercise ten years down the road with a couple of hangings to give it a legitimacy rather than face the economic barbarism shown by our democrats.
May God have mercy on our Pakistan. Better still Imran Khan should invite the army to assist the judiciary because this system is not working.
The army cannot do a worse job than the civilians have dome. Our rupee is at its lowest.
Imran Khan needs to bring in the Army formally. It is the Zardaris, Sharifs and Bhuttos all civilians who have systematically destroyed this country.
Each family has plundered and continued in this vein.
The country cannot afford more of the same.
The governments by the civilian can no longer exclude the army. Better to have both acting in concert. Mutually dependent they will together will bring a cooperation within the system.
