The aura of Imran khan is a valuable asset to Pakistan as it serves to enhance the image projected. The alternate images of the robber Sharif or the robber Zardari will always be detrimental. Neither of the two can ever be trusted. Both conjure images of sleaze.

This image of honesty of Imran is an insurance policy against all the efforts of the combined efforts to dislodge Imran. The alternate offered will not be acceptable outside Pakistan as Imran is the only Pakistani that is unblemished.

The Chinese are investing huge amounts in Pakistan which they expect to grow. They will certainly not put their faith and money into a country ruled by crooks. The Chinese value their money and will not tolerate to see it fritter away.

This boosts the confidence in Imran khan, arguably because the alternatives remain so tainted. This is the best insurance Imran has. Except for the PML-N and PPP, the rest of Pakistan prefers to see Zardari and Sharif in jail.

The people of Pakistan expect this from Imran because they have realised the extent of misgovernance. Instead of ‘Roti, Kapra aur Makaan’ they have no electricity, no water and no jobs. At least with the Chinese there is hope. The Chinese also realised that they have Imran, an honest partner.

This is a win-win for Pakistan and China, however Imran is facing scandals from his inner circle of “Friends” who must be cleansed and be rid off. He owes them nothing and should realise they were in it for gain. Each one has proved a grabber. Imran was never one and must shed any persons of such intentions.
