Polio surfaces again in Sindh
Published on February 19th, 2020

While there are aspects of Pakistan and Pakistanis that make the nation proud. There are unfortunately blind spots which negate all the plus points and leave us badly exposed as a third world with no hope for the people.

The latest scandal is the discovery of polio cases in Pakistan. The cases were discovered in KPK, which is a no go area where the writ of the state is not enforceable.

The sad plight of infants doomed to a life of crippled future is truly reprehensible. Especially when the cure has been available for over thirty years and when polio has been eradicated from the rest of the world. Far worse is the realisation that the disease has resurfaced in Sindh, the birth place and the origins of The Bhutto’s Larkana.

Makes one wonder if the Bhuttos are a plight upon Sindh where the cruel endowments of the Bhutto’s legend bring with it the curse of these afflictions. This area of Larkana has also the highest number of cases of HIV Positive in children as young as four, another shocking low. A reality that highlight the Bad administration of the PPP, The Bhutto/Zardari government of Sindh.

Perhaps they are truly a curse. Perhaps they should be exorcised and even their graves removed. They certainly are bringing more ill will than we need. It seems that the evil of the Bhutto’s lives on after them. The good is interred with their bones.

These sentiments are meant to stop the election of any further Bhutto’s into the politics of the future of Pakistan. The electionary slogan of Bhutto’s vote for the sacrifices made by the Bhutto’s should be replaced by the sacrifices made by Pakistan, and the horrific cost including the loss of half of the country, a deliberate and selfish act by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in refusing the Prime Minister ship of Pakistan to Sheikh Mujeeb ur Rehman, the true winner of the 1970 elections.

This denial the establishment should be made aware of the need to remove the use of this so called Bhutto legend by are showing their true face. If anything the Bhutto legacy is more akin to the Borgia of Medieval Rome. The gunning down of the eldest Bhutto sibling outside his house within earshot of his children using state machinery was a Borgia’s touch.

The Borgia’s were responsible for creating many of the handicaps to the progress and subsequent downfall of the once glorious empire that was Rome.
