Justice, My Lord!
Published on August 13th, 2020

Justice Gulzar Ahmed by his brilliant action against the CEO of KE has voiced the concerns of Karachites in their suffering due to the load shedding.

This action against the CEO resonates with the anguish of the people suffering in darkness, floods and electrocution.

The Supreme Court has shown that it is not blind or deaf to the cries of the people. We wish that he would expand his vision to encompass the disgraceful behaviour of the IPPs.

These people are more dangerous than CEO KE alone, for they command a greater reach by making more people suffer than the 22 million Karachites and make more in the process.

Large areas of Pakistan suffer in darkness in the image of the people. Suffering in rural areas without fans in the unbearable heat of the Punjabi/ Sindhi summer must make life a living hell.

Justice Gulzar is to be complimented on his comments that the CEO of KE should be incarcerated in a room without a fan or light.

Our plea to Justice Gulzar is that the 12 CEOs of the IPPs should be given the same treatment and certainly not be entertained to lunch with the DG ISI as reported in the Press.
These 12 deserve no mercy for they have shown none to the poor citizens of Pakistan.

Judge Saheb please bring these 12 into the scope of your inquiry, more importantly the punishment meted by you to the KE CEO is apt and should be broadened to include the 12 who have caused more pain and more suffering to more people than K electric.

For these CEOs to be flying in executive jets at the cost of the suffering of 200 million people is truly surreal and can be seen as flaunting the excesses of the 12 at the miseries of 200 million.

Justice Gulzar please the IPPs report has been summoned and is lying with the Prime Minister. The fate of which will be determined by the committee influenced by the 12. You are requested to take up the issue to ensure that justice is seen to be done.

This can only happen under your direction. For this people of Pakistan would be truly grateful and you’ll earn the gratitude of millions.

A sage said that “Any contract that is contrary to the interest of the people shall be struck down as this is against the interest of the state.

Your honour, these IPP contracts are making payments of 100 % for production of only 40%, can anything be more unfair.

These contracts must be rescinded immediately and those leaders under whose watch these contracts were drafted should be punished as they were equally culpable as they benefitted equally.

My Lord, poverty should not deserve additional punishment. This is unnecessary and can only be corrected by you through scrapping these contracts and if need be the IPPs should all be taken over in the interest of the state.
