Betrayal of Pakistan
Published on October 14th, 2020

The Establishment should now fulfill its constitutional duty.
We have in place a prime minister who is probably the most honest out of body politic.
However, it seems that he is being thwarted from carrying out his duties.

All his attempts at curbing the sugar and wheat prices are outwitted by the mafiosi that succeed in cornering the market and dictating the prices in their own favour.

Similarly, he is unable to control the IPPs, where the consumers in Pakistan are being charged Tokyo prices for our electricity.

The circular debt has mounted again. We are also being told that the IMF is pressing for another hike in the power rates.
Is it possible that someone who has two bulbs, one fan and a fridge should be paying Rs. 4000 a month?

Far better for Imran Khan to dismantle the IPPs and collect the overpayment that they have already collected from the Pakistani consumers.

This is not only robbery but when committed by members of the cabinet then it is duplicitous of those ministers who have interest in power producing companies and should be charged with anti-state activities as they are undermining the state itself.

The time has come for the Army Chief to stop meeting with the opposition parties for they use this meeting for more political point scoring.

Immediately after leaving the venue, they set about planning their dharnas whose only aim is to show their strength and the weakness of the IK government.

With Rana Sanaullah on the loose in Punjab and Sindh under Zardari and the dark forces wielded by the PML N, the Gullu Butts will go on the rampage.
The agenda to impress upon the Establishment is that the Army is deprived of its rightful place.

The meeting between the Army Chief and Opposition may have inadvertently given the impression that the Army is deprived of its rightful place and the Opposition is playing the army card. This in itself is dangerous.
However, the aim and objective is to impress upon all to witness a show of strength.

This will be easy, as the ‘rent a crowd business” is thriving. The unemployed will be well fed by the Degs being prepared on the grounds of Jati Umra.

The amazing power is that the cases against the Sharifs and other tiers of the PML N have been given bail or the cases withdrawn.
The PTI government will be spectators to watch and gnash their teeth.
While the Sharif brothers will rejoice in their choice of commingled good at last.

Of course it was the judiciary that allowed bail to the PML-N leadership. The damage of that meeting at GHQ will yield results only in favour of the PML N.
People of Pakistan are not that naive. The move is to destabilise the IK government.

The only option left is for the Judiciary to open Volume 10 and to prosecute the accused, and disqualify them while the cases are pending.

The Army must distance itself from all contacts with the PML-N and PPP until its current leadership is disqualified and jailed for their crimes.

The judiciary must pass judgement on the corruption that is proven by the assets with no proof of ownership. This is in itself proof enough.
The meeting at GHQ is already indicative that they are not entirely convinced of the politicians’ guilt.
If so, it is dangerous to become party to this monstrous crime against Pakistan.
Anyone anti-state may as well join Modi. At least his anti-Pakistan bias is inambiguous.

The Army should not be seen in the same room with persons whose motives are transparently deeply anti-Pakistan.

This betrays a political bent, and cannot be condoned. Just as the corruption of Nawaz Sharif cannot be condoned. If the evidence is weak it has been weakened deliberately.

This is yet another example of the deep control of the Sharifs on our judicial/legal system. In no other country have criminals this level of protection.

The Establishment cannot allow our Army to be perceived as partisan. For that is betrayal of the institution and country
