Imran Khan has single handedly raised Pakistan from a vassal state to an independent one, worthy of being offered the honour to lead the muslim nations of the world. An incredible leap from being a toady of the Saudis, labelled “miskeen” and the contempt that follows.
The Saudis bestowed their largesse on a chosen few making sure that the Sharifs parked adequate funds to pay their way. The palace may have been provided for but the running costs came from money stolen from Pakistan.
This was no free lunch but a lifestyle paid for in cash stolen from Pakistan.
The Saudis were in fact abettors to the criminal politicians of Pakistan.
The Sharifs and Bhuttos were privileged friends who were given similar treatment but at the cost of Pakistan.
The robbing of the state money of Pakistan is similar to the huge oil wealth of Saudi Arabia being frittered by one family, after whom the country was named.
