When Imran khan was on the campaign trail his most repeated promise was the return of the looted wealth of Pakistan. The whole nation is waiting to hear the screams of pain from the prisoners being interrogated there is an eerie silence. Not a whimper from the prison cells. Rana Sanaullah who was arrested while in possession of 19kilo of heroine allegedly on its way to international markets and complete with stories of Rana Sanaullah being the linchpin the drug trade. At one point early in his speech stated that politics is an expensive business and he was involved in this business to maintain that high status. There was no reaction from government circles or anyone else. The shameful fact is that the Law minister of Punjab the bastion of the Sharif’s could admit to such a crime, when just possession of narcotic gets a fourteen years prison sentence is indeed stocking. His admission so causal in his delivery is truly awful.
However the same Rana Sanaullah has Law minister of Punjab successfully thoughted prosecutions and punishment of the Model town masicle in which fourteen people were killed by police on the order of Shabaz Sharif.
It is the same Rana Sanaullah under how’s watch the grisly paedophile network of murders were exposed in Kasur but conveniently covered up and no one was prosecuted. Kasur became the international centre for pornofilms of paedophile nature with no prosecution to date. This shows the shameful and seamy side of political Punjab. No one has been charged or prosecuted for these offences. This was probably the most shameful of all crimes listed. Paedophile in the west is hounded even after they are release from jail. They are marked and tracked for the rest of their lives. In Pakistan their protector goes on to serve as Ministers.
The control of the Sharif’s of politics in Punjab is almost complete. With the believers taking on almost a religious stance it was joked. In the early days in PML-N that a bribe was offered to the angel Gabriel for passing on higher up. When Gabriel resisted he was told to just pass on the bribe and not to question it. Word has since spread that the Sharif’s have indeed succeeded in taking control of the hereafter, and their dictates are hallowed and would be obeyed as blessed already. With such a large gullible population it is no wonder that the PML-N is going from strength to strength with a near fanatical following. The PML-N has achieved a cult status.
